Ever wondered why I look up when taking photos outdoor? I'll share the secret 😆😀. My Afro creates a shadow over my face. So unless I look up, you can't see my face in the pictures. Who else can relate?
I'm massively into sporty tees recently so in love with this @filauk t-shirt dress. Blogged this look over on Fresh Lengths today (link in bio & story)
Celebrated my daughter's fifth birthday recently and it had me thinking about where I wanted my hair to be in 5 years...longer, stronger and most importantly healthy!

Hello People. As yall now know I'm a regular gym attendee 💪🏽. And I really struggle with sweat in my hair (seems to just make it dry and brittle). So I've had to switch up my once a week washdays and I've started using co-washes more frequently. And you know @treasuretress always come through with the key products just when you need them. Check out my video LIVE on YouTube now which is a comparison of two co washes which I received in my April treasure tress box. Use my code: AMYNAOMI10 to get £'s of your box. 💖

In my stories a couple of days ago I did a wash and go with the @palmersuk Coconut Oil range with was kindly given to me at the amazing @theteenexperience a couple of weeks back.
Whenever I'm trying out a new product I'm always cautious, a squirt to much and you can ruin your once a week wash opportunity and It really annoys me when I invest a whole heap of time washing and diffusing my hair to find out I got my product balance all wrong.
My general rule of thumb is to start to with a just a little of any new product, so I gave my hair just a couple of squirts of the leave in and a 50p sized bit of the curl styler cream pudding.
It turns out I probably could have got away with using quite a bit more, the product was very very light on my hair. It didn't cause much shrinkage and I didn't get masses of definition but I do prefer volume over definition with my own hair so using just a little product still suits me.
I was pleased with the result as I liked my hair to be light and fluffy and I was able to achieve that look on day one, it usually takes a couple of days for my hair to fluff up.
Next time I use it will try using a bit more of the pudding and see how I get on.
The great thing about the leave in conditioner is I can use it to refresh my curls on the following days and it doesn't cause any sticky residue.
Swipe for day two results.
